2011 brought one exciting weekend for the Foundation Female Sale. On Saturday afternoon the tent blew down 2 hours prior to the Rare Semen & Embryo Auction kicking off. So we switched locations for the sale and hosted the event in the pool room at the Americ Inn in Monmouth. The pool side installment of the Rare Semen & Embryo Auction grossed $124,490 on 32 Lots for an average of $3859. Large crowd was on hand for this sale with over 75 bidder numbers being handed out.
Saturday evening we got the tent put back up and by early Sunday morning we were ready for a sale. The 15th Annual Foundation Female sale drew a crowd of over 600 people with cattle being sold all across the country. This years sale grossed $627,490 on 148 Lots for an average of $4240. Thank you to everyone who helped make this sale a success!
